Birding at NWC
Birds are for everyone
Birding Hotspot

Newman Wetlands Center’s Boardwalk Loop Trail travels through wetland and forest habitats, providing an excellent place to spot a variety of bird species. NWC’s short, accessible trails make it an excellent place for beginning and young birders as well as experienced birders. Other nearby hotspots include E. L. Huie Holding Ponds, Shamrock and Blalock Reservoirs, and Nash Farm Park.
