Newman Wetlands Center is maintained as an educational facility where guests can learn and find solace in nature. To deliver the highest quality experience for every visitor, we have developed policies that promote accessibility, safety, and kindness. We expect all visitors to adhere to the rules listed below. Anyone who refuses will be asked to leave.
Site Rules
Be kind and courteous to other visitors and staff.
No disrespecting staff or other visitors.
Bring friends or family to enjoy the trails with you.
No loitering, lewd behavior, parties, or loud music.
Relax, meditate, & enjoy the quiet of the trails.
No tobacco, alcohol, or illegal drug use.
Respectfully enjoy the plants & wildlife from a distance.
No fishing, littering, harming of wildlife, or picking flowers.
Leashed certified service dogs are welcome.
No pets or therapy animals.
Hike, explore, take photos, & create.
No running, jogging, cycling or riding ATVs.

Parking and Restroom Access
There is a small parking lot with 20 spaces. Three of these are designated for disabled persons parking tag holders. If you arrive to a full parking lot, please return at another time.
Accessible restrooms with changing tables are available in the Learning Center during open hours. There is an accessible outdoor restroom with a changing table near the site entrance.
